Ahmadinejad says his Iraq visit will have many repercussions

TEHRAN, March 4 (MNA) -- President Mahmud Ahmadinejad said here on Monday that his trip to Iraq will have many regional and international repercussions.
“The two nations of Iran and Iraq have very great potentials which by using them can play very influential roles in international and regional developments,” Ahmadinejad told reporters after arriving at Tehran’s Mehrabad Airport.The Iranian president returned from a two-day landmark visit to Iraq on Monday.
The enemies are very afraid of the two countries’ cooperation, he stated.
“In the current situation, it was our duty to visit Iraq, and declare our unity with them,” he said.
